ASC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ALLEN HANDY,
FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Had a stellar week in leading the Golden Panthers defense, earning Defensive MVP honors at the FIU Invitational this past weekend...Assisted on the teammate Fernando Plentz' game-winning goal in a 2-1 over St. John's University on October 29th...Came back to spearhead another FIU shutout, 2-0, against Fairleigh Dickinson on October 20th, which wrapped up the tournament title for the Golden Panthers.

ASC GOALIE OF THE WEEK

MICHAEL HURLEY,
ADELPHI UNIVERSITY
Posted a 0.50 goals-against-average in two games for the Panthers, helping the team to a 2-0-0 mark for the week...Picked up eight saves and allowed just one goal in a 2-1 win over Columbia University on October 27th...Registered a shutout in Adelphi's next outing, making three saves in a 3-0 win over NJIT on October 30th.

ASC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

HARTWICK COLLEGE
Collected a pair of goals in two games for the Hawks, who went 2-0-0 for the week to extend their winning-streak to seven games...Registered his second goal of the 2004 campaign in a 5-0 win over the New Jersey Institute of Technology on October 27th...Also tallied a goal in a 5-1 over Howard University on October 29th.
