SHIRE STANDNES,
FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY

A sophomore forward, Standnes had an outstanding week in helping the Owls to a pair of key ASC victories that propelled them into the 2006 ASC Tournament...Opened the stretch with a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win at Howard University on October 27th...Came back to register both of Florida Atlantic’s goals in a 2-0 victory at Philadelphia University on October 29th, earning the Owls the #3 seed in the upcoming league playoffs.

ASC PLAYER/GOALIE OF THE WEEK

TYLER MARSH,
LONGWOOD UNIVERSITY
Was outstanding in net for the Lancers in their season finale, helping them to a 3-1 win over conference foe Hartwick College on October 29th...Registered four saves and allowed just one goal against the Hawks, giving Longwood two wins in its past two contests.

PHILIP LAMARRE,
FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY
Continues his strong freshman campaign, going a perfect 2-0-0 for the week while leading the Owls to a berth in the 2006 ASC Tournament...Finished with four saves while allowing just one goal in a key 2-1 win at Howard University on October 27th...Closed out the week with his fifth shutout of the season, collecting three saves in a 2-0 win at Philadelphia University on October 29th.
