TEAM NOTES (-): |
CONFERENCE NOTES:
COMMISSIONER’S NOTE: As the Atlantic Soccer Conference Tournament approaches, the following by-laws will be employed when
determining the four teams that qualify for the four-team field.
M. Conference Championship
1. Total points accumulated in conference play will decide a regular season champion. Three points are credited
for a win and one point is credited for a tie. If there is a tie in the final standings, it will be broken in the following manner:
a. If two teams tie in points, the results of the in-season head-to-head competition shall be used to break the tie.
b. If head-to-head competition ends in a tie:
1. The second tie-breaker will be “most conference wins”.
2. The third tie-breaker will be “fewest losses in conference play”
3. The fourth tie-breaker will be “best goal differential in conference play”, capped at four goals.
4. The fifth tie-breaker will be “fewest goals allowed in conference play”
5. The sixth tie- breaker will be “most goals scored in conference play”.
c. If three or more teams are tied for a place in the standings, the procedures outlined in “b” above, will apply.
